Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-15

This policy covers the Omnioras website and the Omnioras app. We take your privacy seriously, especially because we handle sensitive data.

Religion and unburdening are sensitive data

The tradition you choose and the text you write in Lamentations are special categories of personal data under the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD. We handle this data with heightened care and never use it to target ads by religion, nor do we sell it to third parties.

What the website collects

The landing page is static. There are no forms or sign-ups. We use Google Analytics 4 (audience analytics) and the Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) advertising pixels (to measure and improve our marketing). All of these are off by default and only run after you accept them in the cookie banner — you may decline, and the site keeps working. We store your language preference in your browser (localStorage). The advertising pixels may be used for campaign measurement and remarketing.

Automated processing by third-party technology

In the app, Lamentations uses third-party technology that automatically processes your text to generate replies. You are informed and consent explicitly before sending any entry. Replies cite texts retrieved from a curated library; they do not generate doctrine from memory.

Retention and minimization

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete entries individually or erase your whole account at any time, in the app or via the account deletion page.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data. For any request, write to our contact address.

Donations (10%)

Omnioras intends to give about 10% of its net subscription profit to organizations connected to each tradition. This is a voluntary, best-effort initiative and not a contractual commitment: amounts are estimated after taxes and platform fees and are always aggregated by tradition (never per user). A given month's donation may be delayed, may vary, or may not happen at all for reasons including acts of God / force majeure, lack of available funds, or operational, banking or tax changes. Figures shown in the app or on our social media are informational and historical, not a promise of future amounts.
